  1. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips,
  2. 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  3. 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  4. 18 Ritz crackers



  1. Line baking sheet with parchment paper/wax paper.
  2. In a shallow microwave-safe bowl, combine melted chocolate-shortening
